The Rhein-Erft-Kreis is a district in the western part of North Rhine-Westphalia in the administrative district of Cologne.

As of March 15, 2023, the position of a School Caretaker (m/f/d) is available at the Office for Building Management at the Maria-Montessori-School - Special School with a focus on "intellectual development" - at Am Siegesbach 10-22, 50321 Brühl.

The position also includes support for the Karl-Schiller-Vocational College, Bonnstraße 200, 50321 Brühl.

The position is initially full-time and will be filled for a period of two years with the possibility of permanent employment upon successful performance.

The salary will be based on personal qualifications and the job evaluation according to pay group EG 7 TVöD. Please note that there are special collective bargaining regulations for school caretakers regarding working and standby times. The place of employment is Brühl.

What are we looking for?

Training in a technical or craftrelated field
Relevant work experience in the last three years (preferably in heating, plumbing, electrical or carpentry) or experience as a caretaker
Valid driver's license (Class B) is mandatory

What will be your responsibilities?

The tasks include the care of the school
