As a key member of the Universal Learner Courses (ULC) academic infrastructure, reporting to Program Manager Sr.of Business and Life Skills, you will contribute to the mission of delivering high-quality education at scale and fostering an understanding of economics and financial literacy among learners.
This role will contribute to an essential part of the Learning Enterprise Central vision of building a world where all learners can access and leverage education to serve as an effective ladder to social and economic opportunity.
You will support the delivery of a group of economics and financial literacy courses at scale, thus providing thousands of learners with foundational learning in this critical discipline.

This role is based in ASU's Skysong location in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This position and salary will be reviewed and renewed annually. This may be a temporary position and may terminate when the work is no longer available. Additionally, this position is funded in whole or part by sources other than general operating appropriation and may terminate when funding is no longer available.

Essential Duties
In your first year, you will:
**Run operations for ECN 211 Microeconomics, ECN 212 Macroeconomics, FIN 123 ASU Financial Literacy and FIN 194 Fundamentals of Personal Finance (all delivery models
- Session-Based, On-Demand delivered in Canvas and possible additional courses delivered in Google Classroom), to maximize learner success and potential for scalability, specifically**:
- Provide engaged presence in course discussion boards, answering learner questions, providing feedback and stimulating discussion, learning and community building among learners
- Supervise student worker Graders and parttime Instructional Aides for the course, including training (within Learning Enterprise systems), and feedback quality, norming and pace.
- Resolve learner issues, in consultation with Program Manager Sr., and/or the Faculty of Record, as needed
- Meet regularly with Faculty of Record to provide feedback and course status updates during course sessions
- Monitor course performance, learner engagement, and utilize data to identify incourse interventions and/or community building opportunities
Participate in course evaluation and iteration to improve learner experiences
- Help define coursespecific metrics for success and work with learner success designers to ensure appropriate data is collected and analyzed
- Collaborate with Faculty of Record, Instructional Designer, and Program Manager Sr. on future course revisions, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years experience in an alternative educational environment and 2 years in a supervisory role OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

- You have a master's degree or higher in a related field
- You have demonstrated online asynchronous instructional excellence at scale within the discipline
- You have demonstrated success at implementing innovative technological solutions to support and enhance course delivery at scale
- You enjoy working as part of a team to deliver content and support learners at scale
- You are proficient working in Canvas and/or Google Classroom to manage all aspects of a course
- You possess a demonstrated commitment to the design aspirations of the ASU Charter, our commitment to engaging a broad range of learners, and expanding access to education for all learners.
- You have demonstrated the ability to work independently, exercising good judgment that prioritizes learner experience and success
Working Environment
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
- May be required to perform tasks in the field within and/or across University campuses.
- Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
