- Proficiency in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
- Experience with tools like Jira, Crucible, Bitbucket, and more
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Strong understanding of C and C++ languages
- Familiarity with simulation environments like JSE, DIS, or HLA
- Experience with Full-Motion Flight Training Systems
- Knowledge of simulated threat environments such as AFSIM or NGTS
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different disciplines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

At Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, we are currently seeking a Senior Principal Simulation Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Palmdale, California, where boundaries are redefined.
Accomplish
In this position, you will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and testing software for our customers and businesses. Your responsibilities will include software design, architecture, development, and flight simulation. Collaboration with various teams in an agile software development setting is essential, covering areas such as Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test. The simulation software you work on is crucial for both present and future company projects, involving the analysis of system capabilities to address program-related issues.

Salary Range: $133,000 - $199,600.
