As the second-largest of California's 72 community college districts, the San Diego Community College District serves approximately 100,000 students annually at its three, credit colleges, San Diego City College, Mesa College, Miramar College and seven campuses of San Diego Continuing Education.

The responsibilities for this position are to develop, modify, review and test code; develop documentation; coordinate testing with system staff and promote code changes to production environment.

a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field and five years of relevant business experience in programming.
Comprehensive knowledge of maintaining and enhancing computing architectures and environments in an Higher Ed environment.Functional background in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, PeopleSoft Finance and PeopleSoft HCM.

Conditions of Employment

SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT:
- Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam for initial appointment (Note: The certificate must be renewed every 4 years as a condition of continuing employment);
- Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer at the District's expense (Clearance must be received prior to first day of employment);
- Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the United States
as required by the I9 Employment Eligibility Verification form; AND, - Attend a new hire processing appointment in People, Culture, and Technology Services located at the District Administrative Offices.
