Our client, a dynamic company in the construction industry based in Darmstadt, is currently seeking a Financial Accountant (m/f/x) to join their team. Become a part of this company and benefit from great perks.

What to expect:

  • Independent execution of ongoing accounting tasks, including bank transactions, digital document management, payment processing, accounts receivable and payable, account reconciliation, collection management, and invoice verification
  • Review, classification, and booking of credit card statements
  • Reconciliation of accounts and monitoring of outstanding balances
  • Accounting for additions, disposals, and changes in fixed assets
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and VAT returns
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Review and booking of accruals

What you bring:

  • Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in financial accounting
  • Experience with DATEV is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
  • Knowledge of English is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Teamwork, reliability, and a self-sufficient, flexible work style complete your profile
