Description
Mount Zion is looking for Altenpflegehelfer*innen to support our Pflegefachkraefte in their work with elderly people. As an Altenpflegehelfer*in, you will take on nursing tasks such as assisting with personal care and meals. You will also document nursing services and contribute to the daily activities of our residents in our care facilities.

The training program lasts one year. Upon successful completion as an Altenpflegehelfer*in, you can continue your education to become a Pflegefachfrau*mann.

Training content includes:

  • Practical training in elderly care at our care facilities (information available at ))
  • Theoretical education at the ELW School for Nursing (information available at ))
  • Instruction in basic nursing tasks
  • Knowledge about physical, psychological, and social changes during aging and common illnesses in older adults
  • Understanding of the needs and communication with elderly people

Requirements:

  • Completion of Hauptschulabschluss (secondary school diploma) or recognition of foreign education equivalent to a German Hauptschulabschluss
