In Legal, our focus is on providing legal advice to the bank with the clear goal of protecting the integrity and reputation of Deutsche Bank.

We make a significant contribution to the comprehensive legal support of our national and international business. We work closely with other areas such as regulation, compliance, group audit, and risk management. Legal takes a proactive and integrated approach to risk management. We also actively participate in the development of our legal environment, for example through consultation and hearing procedures.

Legal keeps an eye on the economic context of legal issues and ensures that the bank is always up-to-date on the legal framework of its business.
