Description
Barre Town Middle and Elementary School and Barre City Elementary and Middle School are seeking 2nd Shift Custodians.

The rate of pay for this full time position is $19.49 per hour plus a $.50 an hour differential when working the second shift.

2nd shift is from 3PM - 11:30PM during the school year and 7AM - 3:30PM during summer.


Primary Duties:


  • Perform unassisted physical labor/activities (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.).
  • Work effectively and respectfully with the public.
  • Understand and carry out directions.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for a diverse population.
  • Pass a background and fingerprint check.
  • Background in commercial cleaning is preferred.
