What to expect:

You will be part of the new team at Mazars, which is expanding and developing the field of auditrelated consulting with a focus on Financial Services nationwide.
From the beginning, you will be involved in various (partial) projects for consulting and auditing internal audit units.
The central focus of your work will be conducting individual audit examinations, supporting the complete takeover of the audit function, and conducting Quality Assessments according to DIIR 3 or IDW PS 98
Future topics such as ESG and digitalization and their impact on future audit work will also be a focus of your work.
The clients you will advise are both nationally and internationally active banks, financial service providers, asset managers, and real estate companies of various sizes.
Lastly, you can expect a lot of freedom to proactively shape the team and our range of consulting services.

What you bring:

Successfully completed studies, preferably in economics with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting, and/or auditing
Practical experience at auditing firms and/or internal audit units, ideally in the field of Financial Services
Special interest in current financial service topics and practical and theoretical experience in audit areas, such as credit, trading, compliance, money laundering, IT, risk management, controlling, personnel, ICS, outsourcing management, etc.
Strong analytical thinking skills and willingness to familiarize yourself with complex topics and projects
Motivation and ability to link processes with
