General information about the training:

  • The training lasts a total of three years. In the first two years, you will receive basic training as a construction specialist (m/f/d) with an intermediate examination. In the third year, you will specialize as a bricklayer or steel and concrete builder (m/f/d) with a final examination.
  • The practical training takes place on construction sites
  • The theoretical training takes place at the vocational school in Schweinfurt and the construction guild in Schweinfurt

Your responsibilities:

  • You will learn how to use various tools (e.g. bricklayer's hammer, level, etc.)
  • You will learn how to construct reinforced concrete components in different formwork structures
  • You will learn how to read and implement construction plans correctly
  • You will assist in the production of masonry from stones and mortar/adhesive
  • You will support in setting up and securing construction sites
