Karlsruhe, we are looking for you as
Head of Permit Management (m/f/d) on a permanent basis and in full-time (40 hours).

What awaits you with us:

You will take over the management of a project development team with a focus on mining permit procedures, playing a crucial role in enabling the construction of our lithium extraction plants.
You will be responsible for the preparation, management, and control of all permit procedures in the field of the Federal Mining Act (BBergG).
Together with your team, you will develop permit strategies and evaluate different options.
You will coordinate the permit processes with the responsible authorities and other stakeholders.
You will represent Vulcan in discussions with administration, political bodies, professional associations, and in procedures involving public participation.
Across disciplines, you will compile application documents and ensure quality assurance.

What you should bring:

You have successfully completed a degree in mining, engineering, geosciences, environmental or process engineering, environmental, spatial or landscape planning, or a comparable academic education.
You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in permit management, project development, and/or project management.
You are confident and experienced in dealing with permit and regulatory authorities as well as other stakeholders and have indepth knowledge of relevant legal norms.
You have already gained experience in leading a project team and know how to support your team to achieve project goals
