As part of a project team, you will be responsible for planning bodywork systems in the automotive sector. You will independently develop production and system concepts, accompany the entire planning process, and work closely with our technical departments.

Your tasks

  • Planning of production lines for body-in-white in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry
  • Technical review of inquiry documents and evaluation of joining sequences, component data, connection technologies, and clamping plans
  • Development and evaluation of various system concepts, taking into account customer requirements as well as quality, deadlines, and costs
  • Preparation of quantity frameworks and participation in bid calculations
  • Preparation of technical specifications for preliminary inquiries to potential suppliers
  • Preparation of technical bid documents and presentation of the system concept to the customer
  • Handover of planning documents to the project implementation department upon receipt of the order

    • Your profile

  • Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, production technology, or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally, some professional experience in the field of body-in-white
  • Basic knowledge of working with design and planning systems (e.g. CATIA V5, Siemens NX, MicroStation)
