About us
The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) carries out construction tasks for the federal government in Berlin, Bonn and abroad, as well as cultural buildings, research and laboratory buildings for federal institutions. It manages outstanding and complex construction projects in the tension between design and technical requirements, the demands of architectural culture and economic efficiency.
In order to continue fulfilling these responsible tasks in the future, we are looking for several

in electrical engineering or information technology for cultural buildings and the RKI

Area of responsibility
Department IV primarily manages the construction projects of significant cultural buildings in Berlin. These include the properties of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (SPK) with its construction program for the State Museums and the State Library of Berlin, as well as construction projects for the Federal Archives or the Robert Koch Institute. The construction tasks include new construction, maintenance and renovations of all sizes.
We are looking for the field of electrical and telecommunications engineering

  • Pergamon Museum on Museum Island
  • Special maintenance program to reduce the existing backlog of investments in the significant buildings that shape the cityscape of Berlin for the SPK
