Main tasks:


  • Communicating with customers and coordinating with business partners overseas
  • Billing, checking, and posting incoming invoices
  • Classifying goods according to tariff codes (H.S. codes)
  • Preparing and executing customs clearance and delivery for import shipments

Requirements:


  • Language skills (business level German/English)
  • Good communication skills with colleagues
  • Honest personality (not afraid to ask colleagues for help)
  • Reliable in following working instructions (SOP)
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in logistics, trading industry, etc.
  • Knowledge of ATLAS customs clearance software
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in import customs clearance at a forwarding company
  • DGR certificate
  • Willingness to undergo further education and training (IATA + LBA)
