Description

Are you someone who enjoys tinkering and fixing small household items, never missing a technology class in school, but is actually more interested in the larger machines that produce everything from screws to machine parts? With an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, you can work your way up to that level.

You will receive a daily schedule and gather materials to create workpieces, assemble pre-made machine parts, and program basic instructions into the electronics of the machine to make it function.

Of course, quality control is also a crucial part of the job:

using various modern measuring instruments, as well as rulers and scales, you will check your work and perform maintenance and repair tasks to ensure smooth operation.

In short, an industrial mechanic has a far from boring job on the assembly line, as they are the ones building the assembly line itself.
