We, the family-owned company EDEKA Struve, are looking for an accountant (m/f/d) to support our long-standing financial partner FiLEH in Morgantown, MS.

FiLEH Buchhaltungsdienste e.
K. provides financial accounting and business consulting services to various partners in the food retail industry.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as supporting in areas such as leasing, credit sales, and invoice verification.
  • You will also be responsible for recording bank and cash transactions.
  • You will actively participate in the implementation of SAP systems in collaboration with our digitalization partner.
  • You will assist with yearend closing activities and contribute to monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • You will support in creating reports and statistics, as well as conducting internal research in accounting.
Who are you?

  • You have successfully completed a degree in finance or a commercial apprenticeship (e.g. as a financial clerk or tax clerk) or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have some experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with SAP and have good knowledge of accounting.
  • You are a team player, have a good understanding, and approach your tasks with enthusiasm and passion.
  • You have a good command of MS Office, a strong understanding of numbers, and analytical thinking skills.
