What to expect:

Anesthesia technical assistants, together with anesthesiologists, care for patients before, during, and after surgery. This includes monitoring and securing the airway and cardiovascular situation, as well as ensuring pain relief and loss of consciousness during anesthesia. Preparing anesthesia equipment and other consumables, handling medications, requires a high level of expertise. Empathy, reliability, and team-oriented work enable good and individual patient care.

Goals of the training:

  • The imparting of technical, personal, social, and methodological skills for responsible participation in anesthesiology areas, emergency departments, endoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic functional areas
  • The training enables the execution of certain tasks independently or in cooperation with other professional groups
  • The training aims to develop patient-oriented behaviors and attitudes.

The training is regulated according to the ATA-OTA Act in its current version. The school is state-recognized.
