Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking a candidate for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Regio AG in Haltingen, starting on September 1, 2024.

The vocational school for this position is located in Emmendingen.

During your apprenticeship, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems in our vehicles, such as information displays, doors, and monitoring systems.

You will also learn how to program, install, and test modern hardware and software components, as well as diagnose and fix any malfunctions.

Your main goal will be to ensure that our trains are always ready for operation.

To be considered for this apprenticeship, you should have completed (or will soon complete) your education.

You should also have a strong understanding of math and physics, as well as a knack for hands-on work and a passion for vehicles and technology.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and reliable in their work.
