Primary Objective:_
We are looking for a GSR to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
The agent will be responsible for interacting with the guests to provide the highest quality service and to ensure the hotel guests receive a secure place to stay with friendly and attentive service.
Also, Audits, balances, and reports on the various areas of the hotel (e.g., food and beverage, rooms, front desk, gift shop, etc.) to provide accurate and timely financial information on the hotel's operational performance for the day.

Responsibilities:_
- Registers and assigns rooms to guests
- Issues room keys
- Computes bills and collects payments and makes changes for guests
- Answer all inquiries pertaining to hotel service and registration of guests
- Follow the phone script for potential guests calling in to inquire about rates.
- Audits, balances, and reports on the various areas of the hotel (e.g., food and beverage, rooms, front desk, gift shop, etc.) to provide accurate and timely financial information on the hotel's operational performance for the day.
- Oversees front office/front desk operations during the overnight shift.
- Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the
- Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating
- Prepares summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's
- Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts. Processes guest charge
- Verifies all account postings and balances.
- Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management.
- Performs duties of the Front Desk Agent.
- Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day
- Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying
- part-day rooms.
- Coordinates guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance
- Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the
- Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
- Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Processes guest checkouts and handles monetary transactions.
- Maintains customers' privacy.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements:_
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- 1 year of Front Desk experience
- Basic math / English skills
- Knowledge of computers / Office machines
