Job DescriptionGrowing Boutique Hospitality group is seeking an Executive Chef for their new opening project in central CT. The focus is upscale casual Southern Italian cuisine with an emphasis on a fresh pasta program and pizza. This is a leading brand within the New England market that is open to equity partnership for the right culinary leader for this creative new project.
The Executive Chef is directly responsible for and executing kitchen SOP standards for the new opening restaurant concept. The Executive Chef has overall responsibility for ensuring culinary excellence while monitoring financial goals, ensuring that best practices are being implemented and significant unit profitability goals are achieved. The Executive Chef is key member of the Companys management team and will be required to meets/exceeds financial growth and success in this location and beyond. Ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in an NRO setting but also is a true leader in the kitchen, passionate about development, training and coaching.
Furthermore, his position has responsibilities in leadership, restaurant operations, kitchen operations and development. The Executive Chef will monitor and ensure that the menu and recipes are being followed by conducting recipe testing, ensuring standards of quality and overseeing on all matters pertaining to kitchen operations to include hiring and retention of staff/kitchen personnel: unit culinary and financial audits, budgeting, cost controls, facility planning, recruitment, staffing and staff development.
