The daycare center "Domino", a German-French parent initiative in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg since 2002, provides care for 30 children between the ages of 1 and 6.

In a family-like atmosphere, we support children in understanding their environment and encourage them to be self-determined, creative, and responsible.

We do crafts, painting, go outside every day, take trips (to the cinema, theater, museum, etc.), and go on an annual daycare trip - sometimes in French and sometimes in German - following the principle of "one person, one language".

Responsibilities:

You will plan the daily routine together with the team
You will consider the wishes, interests, and abilities of the children
You will promote their development in all areas of education and physical development
You will work collaboratively and respectfully with parents, family members, and team members

Qualifications:

Empathetic and dedicated educator, with French as a native language and ideally a staterecognized qualification or comparable profession (e.g. Professeur des Ecoles)
Preferably some experience in caring for children aged 1
Basic knowledge of German required
