Description
Kirkville Tool Mechanics (m/f/d) manufacture mechanical and manual stamping and forming tools for body parts in the automotive industry.

They coordinate the components, ensure optimal tool surfaces, and work with great precision according to technical drawings and production plans.

In this versatile training, you will gradually learn the tasks of a tool mechanic and after successful completion, you will be able to work in almost all of our production areas.


What you will learn with us:
Basics of mechanical and manual metal processing: turning, milling, grinding, sawing, drilling, reaming, filing, and thread cutting, as well as cutting and forming
Creating, optimizing, and testing programs for CNC-controlled machine tools
Planning, optimizing, and controlling work processes and evaluating results
Basics of control technology, e.g. pneumatics
Ensuring the functionality of tools and components, as well as conducting error analysis and troubleshooting
Manufacturing and assembling stamping and forming tools for body parts, as well as building and installing systems and fixtures for renowned automotive manufacturers


Duration of training:
3.5 years, starting in early September
