As a transmission network operator, we ensure the electricity supply for 11 million people and contribute to the success of the energy transition.

With a team of 1,300 employees, we are preparing our region for the future with a dynamic and intelligent network, making Baden-Württemberg an innovative hub for electricity in the heart of Europe.


Our Anlagenbetrieb department is responsible for operating and maintaining the 380 and 220 kV network, including substations and overhead lines.

We also conduct quality control for construction projects on behalf of the project management team. Our goal is to ensure a reliable and safe operation with high availability of our facilities.

Our service area covers all of Baden-Württemberg and includes our construction projects for HVDC systems such as Ultranet and SuedLink.
