The Beta Film GmbH, located in Oberhaching, produces, finances, and distributes high-quality German and international TV and film productions. The company works closely with public and private broadcasters, platforms and specialty channels, production companies, cinema and video distributors, as well as organizers of major film and television festivals. With offices in the USA, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, the company holds shares in various German and European production companies.

We are currently seeking a full-time

Sole Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

Your tasks will include

Managing the entire accounting process (excluding payroll) for one of our subsidiaries in close coordination with controlling
Responsible for all bookings of business transactions in the main and subsidiary accounts
Conducting operational payment transactions
Preparing VAT returns and communicating with the tax advisor
Preparing both quarterly and annual financial statements

What you should bring

Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration, as well as relevant professional experience
Knowledge of common MS Office programs and SAP FI desirable
Very good German and English skills
Enjoyment of independent and responsible work,
