For our leading construction materials company, we are looking for an apprentice at our location Berlin-Spandau for the company CEMEX Deutschland AG, starting on August 1st, 2024.

Construction Materials Tester (m/f/d)

Are you detail-oriented and able to work with concentration? Are you interested in the practical application of science and technology? As an apprentice, you will learn how to take and test samples of our construction materials. You will examine concrete, cement, and mineral raw materials using physical, chemical, and construction material testing methods, both in the laboratory and on construction sites.

The Training:

  • You will test and control the quality of construction materials, raw materials, and building products
  • Prepare and produce samples
  • Measure and test materials for ingredients, composition, consistency, strength, and compatibility
  • Prepare test results for computer processing

We are looking for:

  • You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate or a high school diploma
  • Good knowledge of physics and mathematics
  • Manual dexterity and technical understanding
