Skilled workers for metal technology in the assembly technology field are active in various areas during their training. Their main task is the prefabrication of parts, which are then assembled into machines, apparatuses or devices. They experience simple turning, milling and grinding. Maintenance and care of the equipment is also part of their duties.

Part preparers work according to precise written and oral instructions from skilled workers.
