Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee quality control (QC) programs on construction projects exceeding $200 million, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement QC plans and procedures, including inspection and testing protocols, to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and processes, identifying and addressing nonconformances as necessary.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve QCrelated issues and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Provide training and guidance to project personnel on QC procedures and requirements, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for QCrelated matters with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in construction QC, incorporating new methodologies and technologies as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate experience in overseeing construction subcontractors' implementation of QA/QC programs over the past 5 years.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of ten years of demonstrated quality control (QC) experience in construction projects.
  • Experience managing QC programs on projects with deep surface excavation and/or complex concrete structures.
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management training or the ability to attain it prior to mobilization.
  • Proven ability to manage QC programs on projects exceeding $200 million in value.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
