The city of Wilkesboro, NC is currently seeking several Gardeners (m/f/d) for our construction yard, starting as soon as possible.

Compensation:
Pay grade 5 according to TVöD collective agreement, plus additional collective agreement benefits.

Working hours:
Full-time

Vacation: 30 days of vacation entitlement for a 5-day work week.

Main responsibilities:

Maintenance of municipal flower beds, alternating and ground cover plantings.

Requirements:

Completed vocational training as a gardener (m/f/d)
Class BE driver's license (C1E advantageous)
Experience with motorized small equipment
Willingness to work overtime, including winter service and outside of regular working hours
Teamwork skills
Physical resilience
