Childcare Worker / Special Education Teacher (m/f/d)

The position is for 30 hours per week.


The role will involve working as a substitute in the five city-run daycare facilities, "Altes Zollhaus" in Pannesheide, "Villa Kunterbunt" in Straß, "Safari" in Kohlscheid, "Am Wasserturm" and "Zum Nordstern" in Merkstein.

This will typically involve longer periods of time in each individual daycare center.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Covering for colleagues who are absent due to illness in one of the city's daycare centers
  • Educating and supporting children aged 0.4 to school age in a group setting
  • Collaboration with five different teams

Your qualifications:

  • Completed training as a staterecognized childcare worker
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Teamwork skills
  • Mobility
  • Strong teamwork and social skills
  • Initiative, creativity, and dedication to pedagogical work
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, resilience, and flexibility
  • High level of motivation
