Description

Deutsche Oelfabrik Dr. Grandel GmbH & Co KG is the management company of a chemical group of companies with three medium-sized production plants located in Detroit. Our services include accounting, human resources, insurance, and IT support.
We are currently seeking a motivated full-time or part-time employee to join our existing IT team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for providing IT support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving and resolving user, hardware, and system issues in collaboration with the team
Configuring, documenting, installing, troubleshooting, and handing over hardware and software
Installing updates, hotfixes, and new releases
Creating, managing, and assigning user rights in various applications

Qualifications:

Completed IT training or equivalent qualification
Strong interest in information technology and new technologies
Preferably some experience in IT support and user care
Familiarity with Windows systems, standard software, and network technologies, and ideally knowledge of Linux and/or other operating systems
Good understanding of standard IT components (PC, laptop, printer, peripherals, etc.), smartphones, and telephone systems
Fluent in written and spoken German and technical
