Deputy Head (m/f/d) Tumor Documentation / IT Development at Comprehensive Cancer Center Hannover (CCC-H) in South Deerfield

The Medical University of Hannover (MHH), with approximately employees, is the largest state-owned enterprise in Lower Saxony.

It is a university institution for research and teaching in human and dental medicine and a supramaximal care university hospital.

Research, teaching, patient care, and administration work hand in hand in an integrated model on the MHH campus.

The Comprehensive Cancer Center Hannover (Claudia von Schilling Center) is part of the cross-location Comprehensive Cancer Center Lower Saxony, which has been awarded as an Oncological Center of Excellence according to the criteria of the German Cancer Aid.

As a central institution at MHH, the CCC Hannover combines interdisciplinary cancer treatment for patients with high-quality oncological research. We are currently looking for reinforcements for our tumor documentation and IT team.

Your tasks:

Further development of the tumor documentation system
Conducting data evaluations in the clinical cancer registry
System administration of all IT systems at CCC Hannover
Providing interfaces between data systems

Your profile:

Completed master's degree in medical informatics or a related field
Ideally, experience and knowledge in handling tumor documentation systems and in cancer medicine
Basic training in statistics
