Program Lead - Los Angeles, United States - Dabri, Inc.
Description
Duties:
- Performs supervisory lead and advisor duties to lowerlevel program and project management staff, including providing training and guidance on daily priorities and operational tasks
- Provides program level oversight and controlling check and balance function for scope, schedule and budget of Board Members' priority projects and capital improvement projects
- Identifies funding allocation for projects, including appropriation for: planning, design, environmental costs, testing, inspection, construction, DSA and construction contingency
- Reviews and approves EAC's and impact statements (Cost and Time)
- Manages the closeout phase of the programs
- Provides programlevel reporting to Program Controls
- Coordinates and responds to BOC inquiries on existing and new projects
- Identifies new programs and projects, including preparation and development of Board Informatives and Actions to support the strategic direction of the Division
- Reviews and responds to Board Members' and other stakeholder inquiries
- Coordinates projects with Local District Facilities Directors for execution strategies
- Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status and updates to Executive Management staff throughout various phases of development or life cycle
- Develops evaluation metrics to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
- Assists in the formulation of policies and procedures related to Facilities Programs, including the development of funding policies, requests for appropriation, and alterations and improvements of new programs
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years full time paid professional construction program management experience preferably for education facilities or public works projects
- 4 years of the above experience must be managing large programs with projects having construction values in excess of $10 million
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
- OR
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a yearforyear basis, if graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency is met.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experience in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects and/or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS)
- Experience in Formal Construction Partnering
- Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction/design processes
Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour

Experience:
- managing construction projects of $10M value: 4 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- LEED Certification (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Los Angeles, CA 90017: Relocate before starting work (required)
