Vocational School Wittlich; block instruction

Further Training Opportunities:
Master, technician, engineering degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering)

Keeping Things Running:
This is what you will learn in your training as an industrial mechanic. When technical difficulties arise in production, quick analysis and action are required.

An apprentice industrial mechanic goes through the following departments:

Training Workshop:

Here, you will learn the basic skills and knowledge of metal processing, and there are quite a few: You will measure, test, mark, center punch, file, and saw.

You will also learn how to weld, turn, and mill. In addition, you will be prepared for your intermediate and final exams in the training workshop.

Central Workshop:
You will spend most of your training time here. This means learning on the job and being able to apply and implement the knowledge you have acquired.

In the central workshop, things really get going:
Gearboxes are assembled and systems are installed or dismantled. Planning and controlling work processes are also tasks that you must master as an industrial mechanic.
