Position Overview:

As a MES Operator at Plants in Savannah, Georgia, and Montgomery, Alabama, you will be integral in maintaining and optimizing the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

This role is vital for ensuring the MES's reliability and efficiency through corrective, preventive, and perfective maintenance activities.


Key Responsibilities:

Service Coverage:

• Undertake system maintenance for MES, addressing defect repairs and implementing minor functional enhancements that require less than 5 mandays or 8 function points.
• Oversee maintenance functionalities including data history, standard data management, product ordering, quality control, system interfacing, and equipment status monitoring.

Corrective Maintenance:

• Identify and rectify defects to ensure MES continuously performs its designated maintenance functionalities.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (excluding hardware replacements and repairs) to keep MES in optimal condition.

Perfective Maintenance:

• Enhance MES operation with a focus on improving data integrity and minimizing response times, ensuring the system operates at its best.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Provide continuous surveillance, tracking, resolution, and reporting of MES issues, requiring cooperation with Client companies
• Develop and manage a process for reporting MES issues to the client on a defect per function point basis.

Exclusions from Service Responsibility:

Responsibilities do not extend to issues resulting from improper system use by the client end-users, the client's failure to provide a suitable working environment, or unauthorized modifications to the client by client's end-users.

Requirements:

• A background in Computer Science or IT, with a preference for graduates in these fields or those who have completed relevant boot camps. Knowledgeable individuals in computer or ITrelated areas are also encouraged to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively interact with employees and vendors.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
• The ability to work well in a team, promoting open communication and effective collaboration.

Contract Position Note:

This is a contract-based position, indicating employment on a project or term basis.
