The homeless day center "City-Station" in Berlin-Charlottenburg offers homeless people a year-round meeting place where they can receive basic supplies, social counseling and support, and experience the church as a community.

To support the team, we are currently looking for a:


Director of the Homeless Day Center:
permanent part-time position (approx. 25 hours/week - negotiable)

Your responsibilities:

- responsibility for financial planning and personnel management (paid and volunteer staff)
- shaping spiritual life within the team and towards guests (community of the institution)
- conceptual development of the work
- quality management and assurance in the institution
- representing the institution externally and networking
- providing help and counseling to those in need
- responsibility for occupational health and safety


Your profile:

- completed degree in social work/education with state recognition
- experience in the field of (low-threshold) emergency housing assistance
- ability to cooperate and sensitivity in dealing with people
- organizational skills, high resilience, and great flexibility
