Kreiskliniken Bogen-Mallersdorf are a municipal company of the Straubing-Bogen district. The total of 1,080 employees provide care for a total of around inpatient and outpatient patients per year. This makes a significant contribution to the quality of life and patient care in the region. The municipal company is one of the largest employers in the Straubing-Bogen district.

The Bogen Clinic in the eastern district and the Mallersdorf Clinic in the Laber Valley provide a broad basic care as houses of primary and regular care with 265 planned beds in the areas of internal medicine, surgery, anesthesia and intensive care medicine as well as urology (Mallersdorf) with specialized areas and specializations in many areas.

In addition, the Bogen Clinic operates an acute geriatric department as an outsourced department of the St. Elisabeth Hospital. The catchment area of the two clinics extends beyond the district borders.

The district clinics are characterized by their close cooperation with the surrounding maximum care centers, their membership in the Klinik Kompetenz-Bayern network, and various quality certifications.
