    We continuously strive to make TruGreen an employer of choice and "a great place to work"Position OverviewProfessional business-to-business (B2B) sales position responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory.

    Generates and secures new sales in a professional environment by calling on and prospecting with property management firms, as well as large corporations and sports related facilities.

    This role typically achieves and manages a portfolio within a local, one branch territory, consisting of annual total revenues of approximately $500K to $800K.Responsibilities1.

    Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans to small to large businesses such as property managers, school systems, sport facilities, government facilities, restaurant, banks or any company in need of superior lawn care products/services2.

    Presents proposals for lawncare services and programs along with obtaining long term contracts3. Generates new business to business sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.4. Negotiates price and design by using company provided guidelines and technology/CRM.5. Generates leads through utilizing a CRM system to manage projects and opportunities, contact information, forecasting reports, etc6. Project management duties within branch, including coordinating with local branch management and service team.

    Education and Experience RequirementsPreferred Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experiencePreferred previous sales experience, proven sales track record, industry or internal company related experience.

    Previous business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferred.

    Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest experience a PLUSValid Driver's License RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of the organizations products and/or servicesDemonstrated consultative selling abilitiesAbility to collaborate and influence internal and external decision makersAbility to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsGeneral computer knowledge, efficiencies and understanding to include Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM platform, Outlook/Office 365Ability to execute prospecting strategies for discovering and closing new accountsExcellent interpersonal communication skills with internal associates and external customersPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    Pay Ranges$43, $72,546.00This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law.

    Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.

    Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.

    In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
