Senior Buyer E-Commerce Purchasing (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Buyer (m/f/d), you will work on the strategic assortment design in ecommerce for the furniture sector (e.g. upholstered furniture, beds, garden furniture, etc.) or specialty assortments (e.g. boutique, cookshop, baby assortments, etc.)
  • You will be responsible for the KPIs of your product group (revenue, contribution margin, inventory level, etc.) and keep them in mind at all times
  • You will build strategic relationships with our suppliers and producers and negotiate and prepare economic decision data
  • Regular meetings with suppliers, trade fair visits, and travel are part of your daily business
  • You will continuously coordinate with other purchasing and category management teams within the XXXL Group on market trends, innovations, and best practices
  • Together with the junior buyers in your department, you will analyze competitors, create themed worlds, and develop targeted costsaving potentials in purchasing
  • You will receive operational support from the junior buyers and purchasing assistants in your product group
Qualifications

  • Completed commercial education, completed studies advantageous
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing (retail) in the ecommerce or omnichannel environment
  • Communicative personality with entrepreneurial thinking, quick comprehension, confident communication skills, and negotiation skills
