About Us

We are an independent organization that provides support and guidance to young people with disabilities and their families (§ 10 b Abs.1 SGB VIII).


Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized advice on the rights and entitlements of those affected.
  • Assisting and supporting eligible individuals throughout the entire process, from application to the completion of service provision.
  • Participating as a trusted representative in planning procedures.
  • Facilitating communication between involved parties and collaborating with social service providers under SGB II to SGB VI, SGB XII, the integration assistance provider, schools, and administrative and employment agencies.
  • Supporting the public youth welfare provider in coordinating integration assistance services (§ 10 b Abs. 2 SGB VIII).
  • Reporting to the local youth welfare provider and conducting case analyses to identify existing integration assistance services.
  • Developing new standards and recommendations for action.
  • Establishing new cooperation structures and creating statistics.
  • Independently working on structural networking and fostering good cooperation.
  • Engaging in public relations and participating in relevant committees and working groups.
