Overview:


As a Regional Controller for the DACH region in our Financial Reporting team, you will ensure that our company's financial statements comply with German statutory regulations.

You will also coordinate component and statutory audits for multiple entities and oversee the filing of financial statements and other statutory requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with German GAAP for our company's financial reporting.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand our reporting needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Support the General Accounting team during period end.
  • Collaborate with actuaries to accurately value and account for the company's pension obligations based on German GAAP.
  • Coordinate complex accounting projects, including a legal entity restructuring project.
  • Work with external auditors for component and statutory audits, ensuring seamless collaboration and compliance with deadlines.
  • Oversee the production of financial reports and ensure they comply with accounting principles and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of related experience, preferably in an audit firm.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or local equivalent.
