Nighttime Newborn Care Specialist Needed in Cheshire, CT

A family in Cheshire, CT, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nighttime Newborn Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for their newborn.

This position requires flexibility. There is potential to transition into a full-time nanny role if desired.


Location:

Cheshire, CT


Duration:

3-4 weeks with the flexibility to stay longer if needed, depending on the mother's postpartum recovery.


Hours:

45-55 hours per week (overtime eligible)


Shift:

9:00 pm - 6:00 am


Rate:

$40-50 per hour DOE


Responsibilities:


  • Provide attentive and nurturing care to the newborn during nighttime hours.
  • Assist with feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and establishing healthy sleep routines.
  • Monitor the baby's health and wellbeing, promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for the baby
  • Assist with milestone developments.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of newborn care practices, including feeding and sleep schedules.
  • Ability to remain calm and attentive during nighttime hours.
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
  • Infant CPR and First Aid certification Required.

Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour
