Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager - Nutraceuticals to join our North American Nutraceuticals Sales Team. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Sales function. This position will report to Sales Director, Nutraceuticals.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to,
the following:
Managing a large number of Ashland's Nutraceutical accounts across the US
Promoting and selling the Ashland's Nutraceuticals Ingredients and manufacturing services
Developing a robust opportunity pipeline and growing the sales territory
Negotiating commercial terms including pricing and supply contracts
Becoming knowledgeable in both Ashland's portfolio and the needs of the Dietary Supplement industry
Prospecting for new business opportunities and managing new leads
Overnight travel up to 50%
Maintaining all records within
In order to be qualified for this role, you
must possess
the following:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent work experience
Experience in a specialty chemical environment ingredient and/or contract manufacturing environment, ideally in the area of Nutraceuticals.
Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
The ability to prospect and network at the accounts to establish new growth opportunities.
The ability to relate to all levels in an organization.
Full, clean drivers license.
The following skill sets are

MBA preferred.
