Busy single mother living on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is seeking a nanny/house manager to assist her and her daughter, who is 4 years old and has a non-urgent medical condition.

Due to the divorce and variable parenting schedule, this is a unique position with a hybrid live in/live out schedule.

One week, Monday through Friday, you would live in the family apartment. The following week you would work live out, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Schedule:

Week 1:
LIVE IN Monday through Friday

Week 2:
LIVE OUT Monday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday

Salary:
$1,000 - $1,100/Week, depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities:

As a busy working single mother, this mom is looking for a nanny who will also help to manage the home.

The 4 year old girl has a medical condition that is very mild, but would benefit from having a nanny who is patient, kind and understanding.

The responsibilities during this week are similar to that of most live-in nannies - assisting with the morning routine and school drop off, running errands or light housekeeping while the child is at school, picking up the daughter from school, supervising her at home, and helping with the dinner and bedtime procedures.

The young girl is out at school much of the day, and during this time, light housekeeping duties will be expected, as well as grocery shopping, errands - in general, keeping the apartment tidy, stocked and running smoothly.

With only mom and daughter living full time in the apartment, it takes very little to accomplish that. During the alternate week, you will be working in a live out role, and the schedule is more flexible.
