- Bachelors Degree in Social Services required.
- Current, valid, and active licensed to practice as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of employment required.
- Master of Social Work preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting preferred. Acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team
Responsibilities:Provides patient assessment, counseling, and discharge planning. Acts as a liaison between the patient/family/hospital and community agencies/resources. Demonstrates expertise in social work, working as a member of an inter-disciplinary team comprised of a physician, nurses, and case management. Applies specialized knowledge of human development and behavior and social, economic, and cultural systems in directly assisting patients and families to improve or restore their capacity for social functioning. This includes counseling and use of psychosocial interventions and social psychotherapy. Occasionally plans educational offerings and provides in-services as requested.

Posted Total Compensation:The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Its not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Posted Salary Range:USD $ USD $53.54 /Hr.
