- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.
- Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required.
- Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position.
- CT experience is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations with little guidance is required.
- Ability to function as a resource, actively participating in training and orientation of coworkers and students is required.
- Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.
- May be adjusted based on Career Ladder placement
