Description
Cooperative Study in the Field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (KoSE)Study KoSE
  • What is it about? The cooperative study program in the field of electrical engineering and information technology combines studying at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with practical phases in regional companies.
Within KoSE, both a 6- to 7-semester bachelor's degree and a 3- to 4-semester master's degree can be completed. During the semester breaks, students work on projects in the company. They receive a contractually regulated compensation from the company for this.

Win-win for students and companiesThe advantage for the company is that potential employees can be recruited at an early stage.

In addition, students are prepared for specific tasks in the company during the practical phases, so that they can quickly "take off" after graduation.

Students prepare intensively for the practical aspects during their studies and get to know both the professional fields and the company better.

A monthly compensation, which is regulated in a student contract along with vacation days and working hours, ensures a financially easier study program.

Structure of the study program and practical phasesStudents are regularly enrolled at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and attend bachelor's or master's lectures during the semester.

During the semester breaks, practical phases take place in the company, regular internships are completed in the cooperating company, and the final theses are written in practice.
