Facility Management Department Manager in Barryton, MI

Job Summary:
The Facility Management Department is an internal service provider within the DRV Bund, with approximately 1,600 employees.

Our main tasks include digitalization, logistics, procurement, and especially project management and facility management for owned and leased buildings of the DRV Bund.

As the internal service provider, the department is responsible for technical, infrastructural, and commercial facility management, including our administrative buildings and external locations throughout Germany, totaling 1 million square meters of gross floor area.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the department, which consists of approximately 150 employees
Support the implementation and monitoring of change processes
Actively contribute to the assigned tasks of the department, such as supporting the department management, managing tasks, participating in the strategic expansion and development of the Integrated Building Management portfolio, and coordinating decisionmaking processes
Determine staffing needs, coordinate personnel deployment, and manage budget planning
Make decisions regarding concepts, proposals, and changes to organizational processes within your area of responsibility
Utilize leadership tools for personnel development and occupational reintegration management

Qualifications:

Successfully completed university degree (diploma, bachelor's, or equivalent)
or:
Successfully completed "Certified Master for Protection and Security" including the IHK advanced training examination "Certified Security Officer"
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in security management and/or security technology, as
