The DGMK German Scientific Society for Sustainable Energy Sources, Mobility and Carbon Cycles is a non-profit organization based in Hamburg that manages a network of professionals from industry and research and actively contributes to the development of the energy sector. The DGMK provides a neutral platform for scientific and technical exchange between science and practice.

We are looking for a Scientific Officer (Geosciences / Petroleum Engineering) (m/f/d) part-time hours for the DGMK office in Hamburg at the earliest possible date.

The position is assigned to the DGMK department of Geo-Energy Systems and Underground Technologies. This department deals with the intelligent use of the deep subsurface, i.e. production of oil and gas, sustainable use of gas and hydrogen storage, geothermal energy for local heat supply, and extraction of highly demanded metals such as rare earths and lithium worldwide.

The position is limited to 24 months.
