The Anesthesia Care department in Valley Acres, CA is seeking a Deputy Head of Nursing in full-time (38.5 hours per week) or part-time (customizable hours, minimum 75%) starting on August 1st, 2023 or at a later date.

Anesthesia Care at the Head Clinic

  • As Deputy Head of Nursing, you will manage the Anesthesia Care department at our Head Clinic in collaboration with the Head of Nursing. This includes the operating areas of the Eye Clinic, Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, and Neurosurgery. In this position, you will be responsible for personnel planning and organization in these areas. Your nursing expertise will also be required, meaning you will be involved in everything from creating schedules to caring for patients.
Your Profile

  • For this responsible position, you will need a nursing degree, several years of experience in anesthesia care, and a completed specialist training in intensive care/anesthesia care. We expect you to be motivated to complete the leadership course at our academy. Furthermore, you should possess patientoriented thinking and acting, strong organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and cooperate with others. We also expect a high level of social competence and commitment.
