Experience in Medicine, Pharmacy, and Laboratory The Carl-Thiem-Klinikum Cottbus is a non-profit GmbH under municipal ownership and an academic teaching hospital of the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin.

As a renowned clinic with the highest medical standards, it is the largest employer in Cottbus with around 1,200 beds and over 2,500 employees.

We have over 200 colleagues from around 40 countries.


At CTK, as a center for specialized care with 21 clinics, 2 institutes, and numerous centers, almost all medical disciplines are available to treat more than 145,000 inpatients and outpatients per year.


Starting in the winter semester of 2026, we will become the Innovation Center University Hospital Cottbus with a focus on health system research.


The Center for Laboratory Medicine, Microbiology, and Hospital Hygiene is currently seeking a Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (m/f/d) for the Laboratory Medicine department in Cottbus.


Your responsibilities:


You will be involved in routine and emergency examinations, particularly in the fields of clinical chemistry, hematology/hemostaseology, and blood group serology, using state-of-the-art analysis systems.

If interested, a focus can be placed on genetics.

You will monitor and validate examination results.

You will perform general laboratory tasks.

You will participate in weekend, holiday, evening, and night shifts, primarily at the Cottbus location and possibly also at the Spremberg location
